Lahore Electric Supply Company Limited (LESCO), which distributes electricity to over 7.28 million consumers across Lahore, Kasur, Sheikhupura, Okara and Nankana Sahib districts, is recruiting through the Open Testing Service (OTS) for five Assistant Manager/Junior Engineer (Electrical) posts under advertisement LESCO#40(2026-27). The posts are offered on a contract basis with a market-based lump sum package and a six-month probation period, and are distributed across three regional quotas — three seats reserved for Punjab, one for Sindh Rural, and one for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa — making this one of the largest engineering-grade intakes LESCO has advertised this cycle.

Eligible candidates must hold a B.Sc. or B.E. degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering with First Division from an HEC-recognized university, together with valid PEC registration as an Electrical/Electronic Engineer. The maximum age limit is 33 years as on the closing date, a figure that already includes the standard five-year age relaxation, so no further relaxation applies beyond scheduled-caste or Buddhist candidates (3 years) and continuously-serving government servants (10 years). Selection proceeds through a written test administered by OTS, with a minimum passing requirement of 50%; only candidates who meet the full eligibility criteria for this specific post will be permitted to sit the test, and passing it does not by itself guarantee an offer of employment.
