About This Job

Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication (MOITT) - Digital Economy Enhancement Project (DEEP) under MOITT is looking to fill 1 Hackathon Strategy Specialist post on a contractual basis. This recruitment is open to both male and female candidates across Islamabad, and interested candidates are encouraged to review the complete eligibility criteria before applying.

Duty station: Nationwide across all 16 divisions of Pakistan. Selected candidates will be required to report to this location, although the department reserves the right to transfer or reassign personnel to other locations within Islamabad as operational needs arise.

Candidates must be between 18 and 35 years of age as on the last date for submission of applications. Upper age relaxation may be available as per government rules.

Educational requirement: Minimum 16 years of education (Bachelor's or Master's degree) from HEC-recognized or internationally reputable institution in Innovation Management, Computer Science, Business Administration, Social Sciences, Event Management, or related discipline. Candidates are expected to have completed this qualification from a recognized institution. Original documents and attested copies will be required at the time of the interview.

Applicants are required to have Minimum 7 years of post-qualification professional experience designing and managing hackathons, innovation competitions, or technology-focused events with a track record of organizing 10+ simultaneous events. Relevant experience must be substantiated with proper documentation, including experience certificates from previous employers.

Contract duration 21 months; bilingual English/Urdu required
