The National Database & Registration Authority (NADRA) is inviting applications for the contract-based post of Assistant Director (Network Engineer - Soft VPN Project) at its Islamabad headquarters. Working under NADRA's IT Infrastructure and Security function, the selected candidate will be responsible for configuring and administering firewall services and soft VPN connectivity, deploying and maintaining network firewalls and switches across aggregation, core and perimeter layers, ensuring seamless SVPN user connectivity, resolving complex network issues through tiered troubleshooting, managing VPN groups, IP address schemes and user access provisioning, and supervising IT teams spanning infrastructure, support and security.

Applicants must hold a four-year Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecom Engineering, Software Engineering or an equivalent related field from an HEC-recognized university, with degrees attested by HEC; a Master's degree will be preferred. A minimum of three years of post-qualification experience in Communications & Networks is required, and CCNA/CCNP certification is preferred, along with a strong technical foundation in routing and switching protocols and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The maximum age limit is 37 years, which already includes the standard five-year general age relaxation, and no further relaxation will be entertained.
