National Bank of Pakistan's Aitemaad Islamic Banking is hiring Tellers (OG-III) across 23 branch locations spanning Punjab, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Islamabad, including Bahawalpur, Gujranwala, Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, Multan, Peshawar, Rawalpindi, Sukkur and several smaller district towns. Reporting to the Branch Operations Manager, the teller handles cash receipt and disbursement, deposits and withdrawals, utility-bill and government-receipt collections, and vault/cash-key management per the bank's SOPs. The role also covers funds-transfer and ATM transaction processing, cash sorting and balancing against SBP directives, cross-selling bank products to walk-in customers, and flagging any suspicious cash activity for STR reporting — all under Shariah-compliant banking procedures. Beyond front-counter service, the teller cross-sells bank products by answering customer queries and informing them of new services and promotions, balances and reconciles sorted, unsorted, re-issuable, defective and new currency notes before vaulting cash at day's end, and ensures ATMs at the branch stay replenished and functional through long weekends and holidays. With 23 branch locations hiring simultaneously across four provinces and the federal capital, this is one of NBP's largest concurrent recruitment drives, reflecting steady branch-network growth for Aitemaad Islamic Banking.

Candidates need a minimum graduation from a HEC-recognized institution, with a Master's degree or an Islamic Banking certification, degree or diploma preferred. NBP wants at least 1 year of banking experience, including a minimum of 6 months in cash handling, along with sound knowledge of SBP Prudential Regulations on cash management, strong customer-service skills and proficiency in MS Office. NBP also wants proven proficiency in cash handling and transaction management, the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment, and proficiency across Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint, with all duties carried out in line with Shariah-compliance requirements specific to Aitemaad Islamic Banking.

The position is offered on a three-year contractual basis, renewable at management's discretion, with compensation as per NBP policy. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for a test and/or panel interview, with no TA/DA payable.
