National Bank of Pakistan is hiring Credit Officers for its Credit Risk Management Division across fourteen locations — DG Khan, Faisalabad, Gilgit, Gujranwala, Gujrat, Gwadar, Karachi, Lahore, Mansehra, Muzaffarabad AK, Peshawar, Sargodha, Sheikhupura and Sibbi. Offered on a three-year renewable contract and reporting to the Regional Executive - Credit Risk Management Division, this is a business-facing risk role rather than a back-office audit post, aimed at professionals who want hands-on exposure to commercial, SME and agriculture lending decisions.

The Bank requires at least a graduation degree recognised by the HEC of Pakistan, preferably with an accounting or finance background, along with a minimum of two years of experience in commercial or SME banking — either on the business side or within risk management at a commercial bank. On the job, Credit Officers support the Regional Executive Credit in reviewing and analysing SME, Commercial and Agri credit proposals, covering quantitative, qualitative and climate-risk analysis; they help structure credit limits against the collateral on offer, check compliance with internal policy and regulatory guidelines, assist internal and external audits, coordinate with business groups for clarifications, and analyse borrowers' reputational and sustainability risk profiles.

Qualification Required
