About This Job

National Bank of Pakistan is hiring an Associate for Governance & Audit Coordination within its Information Technology function, based in Karachi. Offered on a three-year renewable contract and reporting to the Department Head - Governance & Audit Coordination, this role sits at the intersection of IT governance and IT audit, coordinating between IT auditors, internal teams and the Bank's governance committee rather than doing hands-on technical work.

The Bank is asking for at least a graduation degree recognised by the HEC of Pakistan, with a preference for a Bachelor's in IT, Computer Science, Business or Commerce, a Master's degree, or a relevant certification. Candidates need a minimum of three years of experience in IT governance coordination and/or IT audit coordination, ideally gained within a bank. Responsibilities include planning, scheduling and coordinating internal and external IT audit activities, tracking audit issues through to resolution, maintaining audit documentation for compliance and record-keeping, coordinating IT governance activities such as policy updates and compliance reviews, supporting the identification and documentation of IT-related risks, and preparing regular audit and governance reports for senior management and the board.

To apply, use the "Apply Online" button above to reach Sidat Hyder's NBP careers portal — NBP's official recruiting partner for this batch — and select this exact post from the current listing before submitting your online application. Only candidates who meet the eligibility criteria in full will be shortlisted for a written test and/or panel interview, with no TA/DA payable for either stage. Applications must reach the portal by the closing date of 31 July 2026.
