National Bank of Pakistan is recruiting an Audit Team Member for its Operations Audits function within the Audit & Inspection Group in Karachi. The post is offered on a three-year contract, renewable at management's discretion, and reports to the Wing Head - Operations Audit. This role focuses on the Bank's Management Audit Program rather than international or credit-specific audits, making it well suited to auditors who enjoy hands-on branch and back-office review work.

Eligibility requires at minimum a graduation degree recognised by the HEC of Pakistan, with a Master's degree or a fresh ACCA/CIA certification preferred. NBP wants candidates with a minimum of four years of banking experience in branch audit and/or management audit functions. On the job, the successful candidate will develop and update Risk Control Matrices for various functions, prepare Audit Planning Documents and hold pre-audit meetings with auditee management, run testing procedures and report any lapses found, follow up on Corrective Action Plans, validate the rectification status of both regulatory and internal audit findings, and ensure every audit's working papers are properly uploaded to the Bank's e-Audit system for record-keeping.

Qualification Required

• Qualification: Minimum Graduation or equivalent from a local or international university/college/institute recognized by the HEC of Pakistan; candidates having a Master's degree and/or any other relevant professional qualification or certification such as fresh ACCA/CIA etc. will be preferred.
• Experience: Minimum 04 years of Banking experience in Branch Audit function and/or Management Audit functions.
