About This Job

National Bank of Pakistan is recruiting an Associate for Payment, Budget & Contract Management within its Information Technology function in Karachi. The post is offered on a three-year renewable contract, reporting to the Department Head - Governance & Audit Coordination, and covers a mix of vendor-payment processing, budget coordination and contract administration for the Bank's IT divisions.

Candidates need at least a graduation degree recognised by the HEC of Pakistan, with a Bachelor's in IT, Computer Science, Business or Commerce, a Master's degree, or a relevant certification preferred. NBP wants a minimum of three years of experience in payments, budgeting or contract management, ideally within a bank. The role involves overseeing the timely and accurate processing of divisional payments including vendor invoices and service contracts, verifying and reconciling payment requests, drafting, reviewing and negotiating vendor and partner contracts, maintaining an up-to-date contract database, acting as a liaison between legal, procurement and finance teams, and preparing regular reports on payment status, outstanding invoices and contract performance for management review.

Qualification Required
