The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), the federal body under the Prime Minister's Office that leads Pakistan's disaster preparedness, response and risk-reduction work, has announced a vacancy for the post of Deputy Manager – AI & Computer Vision as part of its October 2026 recruitment drive. There is one position available for this role, offered purely on a contract basis with a monthly lump-sum package treated as equivalent to PPS-08. The person selected will be responsible for building AI and computer-vision tools that automatically detect damaged buildings, roads and bridges from imagery, and wiring those models into NDMA early-warning dashboards and portals.
