About This Job

The Pakistan Air Force (PAF) has announced online registration for Airmen Induction – July 2026, calling on eligible young Pakistani men to join the Medical Assistant trade group. This nationwide recruitment drive offers Biology-stream Matric candidates the chance to build a disciplined, respected career in one of Pakistan's premier defence services. Airmen selected into the Medical Assistant cadre support doctors and paramedical staff at PAF hospitals and medical centres attached to bases across the country, gaining hands-on clinical exposure early in their careers. Along with national service, successful candidates gain access to a stable government salary, free medical care for themselves and their families, subsidised accommodation, generous leave entitlements and concessional air/rail travel, benefits that make Airman service one of the more attractive career paths available to science-stream Matric candidates in Pakistan today.

To be eligible for the Medical Assistant trade, male Pakistani citizens aged between 16½ and 20 years (as on 28 December 2026) who are unmarried and stand between 163 cm and 188 cm in height may apply. Academically, the bar is higher than most other trades in this induction cycle: candidates must have passed Matriculation in the Science group with a minimum of 70% aggregate marks, including at least 70% marks in Biology and Chemistry, along with a minimum of 65% marks in English, reflecting the more technical, health-related nature of the role.

Online registration for this induction cycle opened on 6 July 2026 and closes on 19 July 2026, and applications are accepted only through the official portal, www.joinpaf.gov.pk; no manual or walk-in applications are entertained. Shortlisted candidates will subsequently be called to Air Selection & Recruitment Centres in major cities, including Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar, Quetta, Islamabad, Multan, Faisalabad, Sialkot and Gujranwala, for a written academic test, a physical fitness assessment and a medical examination, with final selection decided on merit after all stages are cleared. Candidates should keep their original CNIC, domicile certificate and attested academic documents ready ahead of the test date, since incomplete documentation can lead to disqualification. With only a short window left before the deadline, eligible young men interested in a paramedical career within the Air Force are encouraged to complete their PAF Airman registration online without delay.
