Apply before 13 August 2026. Full application steps and eligibility criteria are below.
About This Job
Pakistan Army has opened registration for its Armed Forces Nursing Service (AFNS) BSc Nursing Course 2026, a fully residential commissioning program open exclusively to female candidates. Selected candidates will undergo four years of BSc Nursing training at some of the country's premier military medical institutions — including AFPGMI Rawalpindi, CMH Lahore, CMH Kharian, CMH Multan, CMH Bahawalpur, CMH Quetta, and PNS Shifa Karachi — before being commissioned into the Armed Forces Nursing Service. It's a career path that combines professional nursing training with the structure, benefits, and long-term stability of a commissioned role within Pakistan's military healthcare system — an appealing option for young women interested in both healthcare and a disciplined institutional career.
To be eligible, candidates must have passed Matriculation with Science subjects, scoring at least 60% marks, along with FSc Pre-Medical with a minimum of 50% marks. Those still awaiting their FSc Part-II result can apply using a Hope Certificate issued by their college principal, provided they submit the attested certificate and marksheet to the PA Directorate (PA-3C) at GHQ Rawalpindi within five days of the official result announcement. Candidates who completed O-Level or A-Level qualifications instead will need an IBCC equivalence certificate with the appropriate grade conversion. Beyond academics, applicants must be unmarried, widowed, separated, or divorced without dependents, meet a minimum height of 5 feet, and maintain a weight appropriate for their Body Mass Index. The age bracket for this course is 17 to 25 years, and it is open to Pakistani citizens as well as domicile holders from Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.
Interested candidates can register online through the official Join Pakistan Army portal before the closing date of 13 August 2026. The selection process includes a written MCQ-based test followed by an interview before the GHQ Selection Board, conducted at centers including Rawalpindi, Lahore, Multan, Karachi, Peshawar, and Quetta. Those selected will commit to a minimum of ten years of service with Pakistan Army following the completion of their BSc Nursing degree — a significant commitment, but one that comes with structured training, a recognized qualification, and a stable long-term career. Given the physical, academic, and medical eligibility conditions involved, prospective candidates are encouraged to begin gathering their documents — academic certificates, domicile proof, and medical records — well ahead of the deadline, and to visit joinpakarmy.gov.pk directly for the most current registration dates and instructions before finalizing their application, since some exact scheduling details are confirmed only on the official portal itself.
