About This Job
The Pakistan Military Accounts Department (PMAD) has announced a large recruitment drive for 274 vacancies of Junior Auditor (BPS-11), inviting applications from across Pakistan through the National Job Portal. PMAD handles the accounting of military personnel pay, civilian payroll within the defence services, purchase and vendor payments, and internal audit functions for the armed forces, so this is a significant entry point into federal government service for finance-minded graduates. With such a large number of posts on offer, this is one of the bigger recruitment opportunities currently open on the portal, aimed at fresh graduates as well as candidates already working in accounts-related roles.
Candidates need at least a second-class/Grade-C Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, Banking, or Business Administration from an HEC-recognized university, or an equivalent Associate Degree Program in a related discipline, along with basic computer literacy and a minimum typing speed of 30 words per minute. The upper age limit is 30 years, with the standard federal five-year general age relaxation applying on top of that, and further relaxations available for minorities, persons with disabilities, and women in line with government policy; Balochistan-domicile candidates are additionally eligible under both the merit and women's quotas. Government and semi-government employees may also apply, but must do so through the proper departmental channel. Selection proceeds through shortlisting followed by a test and/or interview, to be conducted in Karachi, Lahore, Multan, Peshawar, Quetta, and Rawalpindi; selected candidates should be prepared to serve anywhere in Pakistan, and no TA/DA is admissible for attending the test or interview.
Applications must be submitted online through the candidate's own National Job Portal account before the closing date of 2 August 2026. No application fee has been indicated for this posting. Given the volume of vacancies and the wide eligibility net across several relevant degree backgrounds and quotas, interested candidates are encouraged to apply early and keep their qualification and CNIC documents ready for upload. Tap "Apply Online" above to begin the process directly on PMAD's Junior Auditor listing.
