Islamabad Capital Territory Police under Police is looking to fill 9 Constable (Mounted Police) posts on a permanent basis. This recruitment is open to both male and female candidates across Islamabad, and interested candidates are encouraged to review the complete eligibility criteria before applying.

Falling under BPS-7, the post offers a compensation package in line with government pay scales for permanent appointments. The exact salary and benefits will be determined as per the rules and regulations applicable to permanent positions at this grade.

The posting will be at Islamabad Capital Territory Police. However, the appointing authority retains the right to post the selected candidate to any office or station under Islamabad Capital Territory Police within Islamabad or elsewhere in Pakistan as circumstances demand.

The posts have been distributed as follows: 1 women quota. Candidates applying under reserved quotas must provide supporting documentation at the time of application or during the interview stage to validate their eligibility under the relevant category.

The prescribed age limit is 18-25 years (as on the closing date). Age relaxation rules issued by the government from time to time shall apply.

To be eligible, candidates must hold Matric or equivalent from a recognized Board; expertise in horse riding; knowledge of Zeen and other horse-riding equipment, food supplement and feeding schedule for horses. Physical Standards: Minimum height 5 ft-7 in (male) / 5 ft-2 in (female); Chest 33x34 1/2 inches (men); must pass endurance test (1 mile run in 7 minutes for male, 10 minutes for female). from a recognized institution. All degrees and certificates must be verified, and candidates should be prepared to present original documents during the selection process.

A Physical/Endurance Test + Written/Computer-based Test + Interview will be conducted as part of the recruitment process.
