About This Job

A fresh job notification from Punjab Treasuries & Accounts Service, Finance Department covers 60 Deputy Accountant positions on a permanent basis. Applications are accepted from both male and female candidates who fulfil the minimum eligibility requirements set by PPSC.

The position is classified under the BPS-16 pay scale, and the appointment terms including salary, allowances, and service conditions will be governed by the applicable rules of PPSC. Selected candidates can expect standard government benefits applicable to permanent posts at this grade level.

The posting will be at Anywhere in Punjab. However, the appointing authority retains the right to post the selected candidate to any office or station under Punjab Treasuries & Accounts Service, Finance Department within Punjab or elsewhere in Pakistan as circumstances demand.

The posts have been distributed as follows: 53 open merit, 3 minority quota, 4 special persons. Candidates applying under reserved quotas must provide supporting documentation at the time of application or during the interview stage to validate their eligibility under the relevant category.

The prescribed age limit is 18-30 years (as on the closing date). Age relaxation rules issued by the government from time to time shall apply.

Educational requirement: Graduation (Second Division) from a University recognized by HEC. Candidates with 4-year or 2-year graduation program may apply.. Candidates are expected to have completed this qualification from a recognized institution. Original documents and attested copies will be required at the time of the interview.

Syllabus for the written test: General Ability: General Knowledge, Pakistan Studies, Current Affairs, Islamic Studies (or General Knowledge for Non-Muslims), Geography, Basic Mathematics, English, Urdu, Everyday Science, Basic Computer Studies. Candidates are advised to prepare thoroughly according to the prescribed syllabus.

The selection process will include a mcq carrying 100 marks with a duration of 90 minutes. Only candidates who qualify in the test will be called for subsequent stages.
