Punjab Tianjin University of Technology (PTUT) in Lahore has opened recruitment for the post of Treasurer in BPS-20, a senior financial leadership position at one of Punjab's newer public sector universities. PTUT was established under Act XI of 2018 passed by the Punjab Assembly and focuses on technology and engineering education developed in partnership with Chinese institutions. Eligibility follows three alternative routes. Candidates holding a Ph.D. in Finance, Commerce, Accounting, Auditing or Economics from an HEC-recognized institution need eight years of post-qualification experience in the relevant field. Those with an MS or M.Phil. (at least second division) in the same disciplines, or an equivalent qualification, need ten years of post-qualification experience. Applicants with an MBA in Finance, M.Com, ACCA, ACMA, or an M.Sc. in Economics (second division) need twelve years of relevant post-qualification experience. The age bracket is 40 to 50 years, with relaxation available under government rules. Holders of foreign degrees must produce an HEC equivalence certificate, and candidates who are already in government service must route their applications through proper channel. The salary package is equivalent to BPS-20, and the Treasurer will be entitled to the perks and privileges allowed to government servants in the corresponding pay scale.

Incomplete or late applications will not be considered, and only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview, with no TA/DA paid. Qualification Required
