Driver Constable

About This Job

Punjab Police has also announced two Driver Constable vacancies under the same recruitment notification covering Rahim Yar Khan and Rajanpur districts — one post based with the District Police Office, Rahim Yar Khan, and one with the District Police Office, Rajanpur — for candidates holding a valid driving license who wish to join the department's transport cadre.

As with the Constable posts advertised in the same notice, eligibility for Driver Constable differs between the district's Settled Area and its de-excluded area: candidates from the Settled Area must be between 18 and 22 years of age as of 31 October 2026, while de-excluded area candidates may apply up to 30 years of age on the same date, with a two-year age relaxation available under standing policy. Applicants must hold a valid LTV (Light Transport Vehicle) driving license along with the prescribed minimum driving experience, and are additionally subject to the same height, chest and physical standards set out in the official advertisement's eligibility tables. A quota within the Driver Constable vacancies is reserved under departmental policy, and preference is given to candidates whose documented driving experience and license category meet the department's requirement.

Interested candidates should download the application form from http://punjabpolice.gov.pk, complete it in full, and submit it with all required documents — including proof of a valid LTV license — at the respective District Police Lines (Rahim Yar Khan or Rajanpur, as applicable) between 12 October 2026 and 31 October 2026. A processing fee of Rs. 300 applies. The notification, reference number IPL-10492, was issued by the office of the DIG (Establishment-II), Central Police Office, Lahore, and the full eligibility matrix is available in the official PDF advertisement on the Punjab Police website.
