Resident Shariah Board Member (RSBM)

Eligibility Criteria

• Qualification:Shahadat ul Aalamiyyah Degree (Dars e Nizami) or similar degree from recognized institution/Board of Madaris AND Bachelor's Degree (other than Madaris Degree); OR Post Graduate Degree in Kuliyyatush Shariah or Kuliyyah Usooluddin, LLM (Shariah) or equivalent from recognized University; OR Shariah Scholar member of Shariah Board/Committees of internationally reputed organizations
• Experience:Minimum 4 years experience giving Shariah rulings including period of Takhassus fil Ifta; OR minimum 5 years post-qualification experience in teaching or Research & Development in Islamic Banking and Finance; preference to certificate holders in Takhassus fil Fiqh/Takhassus fil Ifta and those with 3 years experience as Shariah Advisor or Member of SB of an Islamic Financial Institution
• Age Limit:18–61 years (male), 18–61 years (female) — Minimum age not stated in ad, default 18 used; maximum age limit is 61 years as on closing date
