The general age bracket is 21 to 30 years as on 1 September 2026, though this limit is relaxed to 35 years for candidates domiciled in Sindh who are already serving in the Federal or Sindh Government with at least four years of continuous regular service as of that date; this concession explicitly excludes employees of autonomous bodies, semi-autonomous bodies, local bodies, and adhoc or contract staff. Female, minority, and differently-abled candidates are additionally covered under the standard quota policy of the Government of Sindh, and candidates with disabilities who need special exam-day assistance must apply in writing at least seven days ahead under Regulation 58(A).

Applications must be submitted strictly online through the SPSC candidate portal, since manual or paper forms will not be entertained under any circumstance, and must be finalised well before the closing date of 23 September 2026, as the domicile, quota, age, qualification, examination-centre, and optional-subject choices a candidate enters cannot be changed afterward. A processing fee of Rs. 1,000 is payable only after generating a PSID and paying through any online banking channel. The written screening test will be conducted at four centres — Karachi, Hyderabad, Sukkur, and Larkana — and its qualifying threshold has just been raised from 33% to 40% (80 of 200 marks) under an amendment to Regulation 74 of the RMR-2023. Per a 2017 Supreme Court order, each candidate is limited to three attempts at the CCE. Interested and eligible graduates across Sindh should register and complete their online CCE-2026 application well ahead of the deadline to avoid last-minute portal congestion.
