The University of the Punjab has announced recruitment for the post of Sweeper (Sanitary Worker) on a daily-wages/contingent basis under Advertisement No. 1307, based at the university's main campus in Lahore. The selected candidate will be responsible for cleaning and sanitation of university buildings, corridors, washrooms and surrounding areas as assigned by the estate/sanitation office. No formal educational qualification is mandatory for this post, though the ability to read and write is preferred; candidates must be physically fit for sanitation and cleaning duties. Applicants must be between 18 and 40 years of age as of the closing date; both male and female candidates from all domiciles may apply.
