The University of Gujrat (UOG) has invited applications for 10 post(s) of Bus Driver (BPS-08) in the Transport Office at its Hafiz Hayat Campus under Advertisement No. 05/2026 (IPL # 10287), a notice for administrative positions. The appointment is on contract basis, and the advertisement is open to male Pakistani citizens who hold Punjab domicile. The same notice also carries a second driver post, so applicants for either post should read the table carefully. The university has reserved the right to cancel any post, to decline to appoint against any post and to increase or decrease the number of posts in whole or in part without giving any reason, so the numbers advertised may change before final selection.

The qualification for this post is that the candidate should be literate and hold the required licence with experience: Literate; a valid HTV License with five years experience. The age limit is 25 to 40 years, which is relaxable under the university rules. Candidates serving in government, semi-government or autonomous bodies, including UOG employees on current charge, ad-hoc, acting charge, officiating, regular or contract basis, have to apply through proper channel by the due date and the no objection certificate must be issued by the appointing authority only, otherwise the application is incomplete and will be rejected. The university will shortlist candidates according to its prescribed procedure, hold a skill or trade test if needed, then an interview before the selection committee, and issue offer or appointment letters after the appointing authority approves the recommendation. No travelling or daily allowance is admissible.

To apply, download the prescribed application form with the advertisement from the university website www.uog.edu.pk, because only forms downloaded from the UOG website are accepted. Generate the fee challan from the online HR custom challan link of the university and deposit the non-refundable processing fee of Rs. 500 in any BOP branch, since applications without the processing fee are not considered. Submit the complete hard copy of the application, together with one set of attested copies of degrees and result cards, experience certificates, domicile, CNIC, NOC where applicable, recent passport size photographs and the original fee receipt, at the HR Office, Room 104, 1st Floor, Admin Block, Hafiz Hayat Campus, Gujrat, by 20 October 2026. Write the name of the post on the top right of the envelope, and send a separate application for every post applied for.
