About This Job

The Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA), through its Director General (Medical Services) office, has advertised one regular OT (Operation Theatre) Assistant vacancy at grade BPS-5 for WAPDA Hospitals. The post is reserved for a candidate domiciled in District Lahore and forms part of a larger multi-post recruitment drive covering several allied-health and support-staff categories across WAPDA's hospital network, including Nursing Orderly, Laboratory Attendant, Ward Boy, Aya, Sanitary Worker, and Naib Qasid posts.

Applicants must have passed Matriculation with Science subjects and possess two years of practical experience in the relevant field within a Government, Civil, Autonomous, or Semi-Autonomous Body Hospital. The eligible age range is 18 to 30 years, which already accounts for the standard five-year general age relaxation, with minority candidates and those applying under the District Quetta (Balochistan) quota eligible for a further three years of relaxation. Government or WAPDA employees who have completed two or more years of continuous regular service may receive age relaxation of up to ten years. Selection will proceed through a written test conducted by Central Testing Services (CTS), followed by an interview held by WAPDA, and the selected candidate will serve an initial one-year probationary period, subject to satisfactory performance, before their appointment is regularized.

Candidates must apply online through the CTS website at www.ctspak.com within fifteen days of the advertisement's publication and pay the Rs. 170 test fee through Bank Alfalah, UBL, MCB, or Bank Islami on the prescribed challan available from the CTS website. A copy of the submitted online form, attested educational documents, domicile certificate, CNIC, experience certificate, two recent passport-size photographs, and the original fee challan must be couriered to the Central Testing Services office at 414, F2, Jeff Heights, Main Boulevard, Gulberg-III, Lahore.
