Zarai Taraqiati Bank Limited, Pakistan's AAA-rated specialised agricultural financing institution with over 500 branches nationwide, is hiring Branch Managers at the OG-I/AVP-I/AVP scale for placement across eleven locations: Muzaffarabad, Rawalpindi, Sialkot, Lahore, Multan, Sukkur, Larkana, Shaheed Benazirabad, Mirpur Khas, Karachi and Turbat. This is a permanent banking position responsible for running a full-service branch, and it comes with an unusual eligibility twist: every applicant must nominate three preferred cities or towns for placement, and at least one of those three must be somewhere they have actually served before.

To qualify, a candidate needs a minimum Bachelor's degree from an HEC-recognised institute or university, whether national or international, along with at least five years of banking experience — including a minimum of one year specifically as a Branch Manager. The maximum age limit is 45 years as of the closing date to apply. On the job, the Branch Manager is responsible for deposit mobilisation, expanding agricultural credit in the assigned area, recovering both regular and non-performing loans, supervising day-to-day branch services and operations, and ensuring EKYC and regulatory compliance are properly maintained — core responsibilities for a bank whose branch network reaches deep into Pakistan's rural and semi-urban economy.
