Gujranwala Electric Power Company (GEPCO), the public-sector electricity distribution utility serving more than five million consumers, is looking to hire a Chief Supply Chain Management Officer (CSCMO) as part of its C-level leadership team. The GEPCO Board of Directors is seeking an exceptional, dynamic professional capable of leading supply-chain and procurement functions in a challenging public-sector utility environment, reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer and Board of Directors.

Eligible candidates should hold a master's degree in Management Sciences, preferably specializing in Supply Chain Management, from an HEC-recognized local or foreign university, or alternatively a minimum sixteen-year engineering degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering from an HEC-recognized university; professional certifications in supply chain management from reputable institutions are considered a strong plus. A minimum of fifteen years of post-qualification, relevant experience is required, along with broad knowledge of supply-chain and procurement practice, preferably in the power sector, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and compliance with the Fit and Proper Criteria under the Companies Act 2017 and the State-Owned Enterprises (Governance and Operations) Act 2023. Preference will additionally be given to candidates who already carry power-sector experience. The age limit on the closing date is up to 60 years, with no age relaxation admissible under any category, and the contract will initially run for three years on a market-based, competitive remuneration package commensurate with qualifications and experience, extendable on the basis of satisfactory performance and the Company's organizational requirements.
