Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police, operating under the Ministry of Interior & Narcotics Control, is recruiting 24 Assistant Sub-Inspectors (ASI) in BPS-11 for its Law & Order wing under the 2026 executive-staff drive. Like the parallel Sub-Inspector intake advertised in the same notification, these posts are open to male and female Pakistani nationals and are distributed across Open Merit and regional quotas covering Islamabad, Punjab, Sindh (rural and urban), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan and the Newly Merged Districts/FATA, with reserved shares for women and religious minorities embedded within each regional allocation. The recruitment offers a regular federal police career with promotion prospects within the ICT Police cadre.

Eligible applicants need a BA, B.Sc. or equivalent degree from a recognized university and must be between 18 and 25 years of age as calculated on the 2 September 2026 closing date, with no relaxation permitted in age, height or chest measurement. The prescribed physical standards mirror those for the Sub-Inspector post: minimum height of 5 feet 7 inches for men and 5 feet 2 inches for women, chest of 33 to 34.5 inches for male candidates, and an endurance run of one mile completed within seven minutes for men or ten minutes for women. Candidates progress through the physical/endurance test, a written or computer-based test, and then an interview before the Departmental Recruitment Board; failing any stage disqualifies a candidate from proceeding further. Original documents including CNIC, academic certificates, domicile certificate and photographs are required at interview, with an additional Deputy Commissioner-countersigned affidavit for those applying under the minority quota.
