Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police, functioning under the Ministry of Interior & Narcotics Control, has announced its largest current recruitment drive: 1,540 Constable posts in BPS-07 within the Law & Order wing, advertised alongside Sub-Inspector and Assistant Sub-Inspector vacancies in the same 2026 executive-staff notification. Physical standards require a minimum height of 5 feet 7 inches for men and 5 feet 2 inches for women, a chest measurement of 33 to 34.5 inches for male candidates, and successful completion of an endurance run of one mile within seven minutes for men or ten minutes for women. Selection follows a staged process — physical/endurance test, then a written or computer-based test, and finally an interview before the Departmental Recruitment Board — with candidates required to clear each stage before proceeding to the next. At interview, candidates must produce original CNIC, academic certificates, domicile certificate and photographs, and minority-quota applicants must additionally submit a Deputy Commissioner-countersigned affidavit.
