MS Studentship - Electrical Engineering (NCNN Project)

About This Job

The Information Technology University (ITU), Lahore is inviting applications for 6 MS Studentship positions under the "Establishment of National Center for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (NCNN) - ITU Nano-Metamaterials Lab" project, hosted in the Department of Electrical Engineering and funded by the Higher Education Commission (HEC). These are project-based, lump-sum stipend positions with a maximum age limit of 45 years, open to candidates already enrolled or eligible for enrollment in ITU's MS program.

Applicants must have completed at least 16 years of education (BS/M.Sc.) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Physics, or a closely related discipline from an HEC-recognized institution or university, and must be enrolled in an MS program at ITU. Relevant experience or academic project work in optics/photonics, micro/nano-fabrication, computational electromagnetics, or engineering software development is preferred, and hands-on exposure to simulation tools such as COMSOL, Lumerical, CST or MATLAB, or hardware-software integration experience, is considered an added advantage. All posts will be filled strictly on an open-merit basis.

Only short-listed candidates will be called for a test or interview, and no TA/DA will be admissible. This is a project-based engagement with no expectation of permanency, and ITU reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of positions, or to cancel, reject, or withhold any appointment, based on the availability of sanctioned positions under the NCNN-HEC project.

Qualification Required
