The National Database & Registration Authority (NADRA) is inviting applications for the contract-based post of Deputy Assistant Director (Technical) covering NADRA offices in the Gilgit-Baltistan Region, specifically across the districts of Diamir and Ghizer. The role is a field-level IT support position responsible for administering and maintaining server and client machines, troubleshooting web-based applications, software, hardware and peripheral devices, providing technical support to end users, performing patch management and system updates, and delivering 24/7 technical support to ensure timely resolution of IT-related incidents at NADRA's regional offices.

Applicants must hold a four-year Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or an equivalent related field from an HEC-recognized university, with degrees attested by HEC; a Master's degree will be preferred. A minimum of one year of post-qualification experience in IT infrastructure operations, communications and networks is required, and certifications in CCNA, Cyber Security or Active Directory are preferred. Duties also include LAN connectivity troubleshooting, configuring and supporting routing, switching, firewalls, VLANs and VPN technologies, administering core network and directory services such as DHCP, DNS and Active Directory, and supporting compliance audits. The maximum age limit is 30 years, which already includes the standard five-year general age relaxation. This post carries a domicile restriction: only residents of the concerned Tehsil (Diamir or Ghizer), as verified through CNIC/Domicile, will be permitted to sit for the test/interview for that respective location; the post is open to both male and female candidates, and females, minorities, transgender persons and differently-abled candidates are specifically encouraged to apply.
