About This Job
A fresh job notification from Government of The Punjab, Specialized Healthcare and Medical Education Department covers 4 Junior Technician (Bio Medical) positions on a contractual basis. Applications are accepted from both male and female candidates who fulfil the minimum eligibility requirements set by NTS.
The posting will be at Nishtar Hospital, Multan (100-bedded Cancer Center). However, the appointing authority retains the right to post the selected candidate to any office or station under Government of The Punjab, Specialized Healthcare and Medical Education Department within Punjab or elsewhere in Pakistan as circumstances demand.
The prescribed age limit is 20-25 years (as on the closing date). Age relaxation rules issued by the government from time to time shall apply.
Age note: Age relaxation in upper age limit shall be dealt as per latest notification by Government of the Punjab S&GAD & Recruitment Policy, 2022.
Applicants must possess at least F.Sc (second division) from an institution recognized by the Board having two years diploma in the relevant allied health sciences discipline from the institute recognized by the Punjab Medical Faculty. Having experience in the relevant field will be preferred. from a university or board recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) or the relevant accrediting body.
In addition to the written test, shortlisted candidates will be called for a personal interview. The interview will be conducted by a panel appointed by NTS, and candidates must bring all original documents.
Deposit slip of NTS-prescribed test fee (amount not printed in advertisement) required in favor of National Testing Service, submitted along with application.

The initial contract period for this position is 3 years (extendable, subject to good performance). Extension of the contract beyond the initial term will depend on performance, availability of funds, and operational requirements of the department.
