About This Job

The Punjab Land Record Authority (PLRA) has announced one contract-based vacancy for the post of Procurement Specialist under its Project Implementation Unit for the Board of Revenue (PIU-PLRA), based in Lahore. The Procurement Specialist will manage procurement planning, tendering, and vendor evaluation processes for goods, works, and services required by the project, ensuring that all procurement activity complies with applicable Pakistani and Punjab procurement regulations as well as budgeting and treasury procedures. Given that the project involves donor-linked funding, the role also requires familiarity with international procurement frameworks used by organizations such as the World Bank.

Eligible candidates must hold at least sixteen years of education in Project Management, Public Administration, Business Administration, Commerce, or Business Economics from an HEC-recognized university or institute, along with a good understanding of Pakistan and Punjab procurement regulations, budgeting, and the treasury system. A minimum of eight years of post-qualification experience in public or private sector procurement at the provincial, national, or international level is required, with prior experience in World Bank-funded procurement preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, along with awareness of national and international legal procurement practices, are expected of applicants. The position is open to both male and female candidates aged between 35 and 70 years, and a valid, attested Punjab domicile certificate is required to be considered eligible.

Interested and eligible candidates should apply online through the Punjab Job Portal (jobs.punjab.gov.pk) by completing the application form for this specific post before the closing date. No application fee is indicated on the portal listing for this position. Applications must be submitted by August 7, 2026, after which no further submissions will be entertained, and only candidates meeting the stated educational, regulatory-knowledge, and experience criteria are advised to apply for this single, Lahore-based procurement role within PLRA's Board of Revenue project.
