Child Protection & Welfare Bureau, Home Department has announced a recruitment drive for 1 Child Protection Officer (Legal) post on a contractual basis. The opportunity is open to both male and female candidates who meet the prescribed eligibility criteria, and the vacancy falls under the purview of PPSC.

This role carries a BPS-17 pay scale. Compensation and benefits will follow the standard government framework for contractual appointments, including all admissible allowances as per departmental rules.

Duty station: Sargodha. Selected candidates will be required to report to this location, although the department reserves the right to transfer or reassign personnel to other locations within Punjab as operational needs arise.

The posts have been distributed as follows: 1 open merit. Candidates applying under reserved quotas must provide supporting documentation at the time of application or during the interview stage to validate their eligibility under the relevant category.

Candidates must be between 22 and 35 years of age as on the last date for submission of applications. Upper age relaxation may be available as per government rules.

The minimum educational qualification required for this position is: LLB (Second Division) from a University recognized by HEC.. Candidates must hold the stated qualification from a recognized university or institution at the time of application.

Applicants are required to have 2 years experience as Advocate (full-time Member Punjab Bar Council only). Certificate verified by President of concerned Bar Council and counter-signed by District and Sessions Judge.. Relevant experience must be substantiated with proper documentation, including experience certificates from previous employers.

Syllabus for the written test: Qualification related questions (100%). Candidates are advised to prepare thoroughly according to the prescribed syllabus.

The selection process will include a mcq carrying 100 marks with a duration of 90 minutes. Only candidates who qualify in the test will be called for subsequent stages.
