Punjab Public Service Commission under PPSC is looking to fill 1 Junior Psychologist post on a contractual basis. This recruitment is open to both male and female candidates across Punjab, and interested candidates are encouraged to review the complete eligibility criteria before applying.

The position is classified under the BPS-17 pay scale, and the appointment terms including salary, allowances, and service conditions will be governed by the applicable rules of PPSC. Selected candidates can expect standard government benefits applicable to contractual posts at this grade level.

The posting will be at PPSC Head Office Lahore and Regional Offices. However, the appointing authority retains the right to post the selected candidate to any office or station under Punjab Public Service Commission within Punjab or elsewhere in Pakistan as circumstances demand.

The posts have been distributed as follows: 1 open merit. Candidates applying under reserved quotas must provide supporting documentation at the time of application or during the interview stage to validate their eligibility under the relevant category.

Applicants must hold a valid Punjab domicile. Only candidates who can furnish a properly issued domicile certificate from the relevant district or authority will be considered eligible for this position.

The prescribed age limit is 21-37 years (as on the closing date). Age relaxation rules issued by the government from time to time shall apply.

The minimum educational qualification required for this position is: Master's Degree (Second Division) in Psychology from a University recognized by HEC with special emphasis on theory and practice of test construction, use and interpretation, statistical method and research techniques.. Candidates must hold the stated qualification from a recognized university or institution at the time of application.

Syllabus for the written test: Qualification related questions (100%). Candidates are advised to prepare thoroughly according to the prescribed syllabus.

The selection process will include a mcq carrying 100 marks with a duration of 90 minutes. Only candidates who qualify in the test will be called for subsequent stages.
