A fresh job notification from Mines & Minerals Department covers 1 Manager IT position on a contractual basis. Applications are accepted from both male and female candidates who fulfil the minimum eligibility requirements set by PPSC.

This role carries a BPS-18 pay scale. Compensation and benefits will follow the standard government framework for contractual appointments, including all admissible allowances as per departmental rules.

Duty station: Headquarters Office, Lahore. Selected candidates will be required to report to this location, although the department reserves the right to transfer or reassign personnel to other locations within Punjab as operational needs arise.

The posts have been distributed as follows: 1 open merit. Candidates applying under reserved quotas must provide supporting documentation at the time of application or during the interview stage to validate their eligibility under the relevant category.

The prescribed age limit is 27-45 years (as on the closing date). Age relaxation rules issued by the government from time to time shall apply.

To be eligible, candidates must hold MS (2nd Division) in IT / Computer Science / Software Engineering from HEC-recognized University + 3 years post-qualification experience; OR BS 4-year (2nd Division) in same fields + 5 years post-qualification experience. from a recognized institution. All degrees and certificates must be verified, and candidates should be prepared to present original documents during the selection process.

Applicants are required to have 3 years (for MS) or 5 years (for BS 4-year) post-qualification experience in relevant field.. Relevant experience must be substantiated with proper documentation, including experience certificates from previous employers.

Syllabus for the written test: Qualification related questions (100%). Candidates are advised to prepare thoroughly according to the prescribed syllabus.

A mcq will be conducted as part of the recruitment process, with a total of 100 marks and a time limit of 90 minutes.
