Traffic Engineering & Transport Planning Agency (TEPA) LDA, Housing Urban Development & Public Health Engineering Department has announced a recruitment drive for 1 Sub Engineer (Mechanical) post on a contractual basis. The opportunity is open to both male and female candidates who meet the prescribed eligibility criteria, and the vacancy falls under the purview of PPSC.

Falling under BPS-14, the post offers a compensation package in line with government pay scales for contractual appointments. The exact salary and benefits will be determined as per the rules and regulations applicable to contractual positions at this grade.

The posting will be at Lahore. However, the appointing authority retains the right to post the selected candidate to any office or station under Traffic Engineering & Transport Planning Agency (TEPA) LDA, Housing Urban Development & Public Health Engineering Department within Punjab or elsewhere in Pakistan as circumstances demand.

The posts have been distributed as follows: 1 open merit. Candidates applying under reserved quotas must provide supporting documentation at the time of application or during the interview stage to validate their eligibility under the relevant category.

A Any District of Punjab domicile is mandatory for this position. Candidates must possess a valid domicile certificate issued by the appropriate authority, and this will be verified during the selection process.

The prescribed age limit is 21-30 years (as on the closing date). Age relaxation rules issued by the government from time to time shall apply.

Educational requirement: 3-year Diploma of Associate Engineer (Mechanical) from a recognized institute.. Candidates are expected to have completed this qualification from a recognized institution. Original documents and attested copies will be required at the time of the interview.

Syllabus for the written test: Qualification related questions (100%). Candidates are advised to prepare thoroughly according to the prescribed syllabus.

The selection process will include a mcq carrying 100 marks with a duration of 90 minutes. Only candidates who qualify in the test will be called for subsequent stages.
