The combined case covers 61 posts across titles including Senior Veterinary Officer, Assistant Director (HQR), Deputy Director Livestock at Tehsil level, AI and PO, Assistant Director (ARES), Animal Reporting Officer (Animal Production and Milk & Marketing), SVO Animal Health Punjab, SVO Barani Areas PVTV Rawalpindi, Senior Veterinary Officer In-charge of Category-B veterinary hospitals, Assistant Chief (P&E) and ADIO, engaged on a five-year contract across BS-18. This case is one of 13 posts spread across six Punjab Government departments carried in the same advertisement, which was published in national newspapers on 9 October 2026 at LDA Plaza, 7-Edgerton Road, Lahore, under the signature of the PPSC Secretary.
Eligible candidates hold a PhD in Veterinary Sciences or Animal Husbandry built on a basic Veterinary Sciences degree, or an M.Phil/M.Sc.(Hons.) in the same fields with three years' BS-17-and-above experience, or a relevant Master's degree in management/policy/economics disciplines with four years' such experience, or a DVM degree with five years' BS-17 experience; valid registration with the Pakistan Veterinary Medical Council on or before the closing date is compulsory, and candidates with renewal or initial registration applications pending before the closing date remain eligible. Candidates who believe a foreign or otherwise non-standard qualification is equivalent to the one prescribed above must submit an equivalence certificate issued by the Higher Education Commission or the concerned department's Qualification Equivalence Determination Committee at the time of interview, failing which their candidature is liable to cancellation; marks or percentage certificates for every degree must also be produced, as CGPA alone is not accepted. Any experience claimed in a private firm or entity must be supported at interview with proof that the organisation was registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan, the Registrar of Firms, or another relevant regulatory authority throughout the claimed period, failing which the application is liable to rejection.
Interested candidates must apply online only through www.ppsc.gop.pk, paying the Rs. 600 application fee via ATM, mobile/internet banking, JazzCash, EasyPaisa, UPaisa or an authorised 1Link bank branch before the closing date of 26 October 2026. In-service applicants should secure a department NOC in advance, and the original advertisement carries the full case-wise eligibility notes for each constituent title. Candidates should note that no fresh applications will be invited even if the concerned department later increases or decreases the number of advertised posts, and that test schedules, syllabi and all related notices are issued solely on the official PPSC website — information shared through any other source, including social media or private coaching pages, should not be trusted. Federal, semi-government, autonomous-body and local-body employees are reminded they are not entitled to age relaxation for their period of such service when applying against this advertisement.
