The Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) has announced 2 vacancies for the post of Programme Officer to be posted across Faisalabad, Lahore, Multan, Rawalpindi and Sahiwal divisions on a contract basis. This recruitment drive supports PITB's ongoing digital governance initiatives across the province, and the selected candidates will play a coordinating role between PITB's technical systems and field-level government offices. The position offers a structured contract engagement with the Government of Punjab's premier IT institution, known for delivering large-scale e-governance and digital transformation projects throughout Punjab.

Eligible candidates must hold a Masters or Bachelors (Hons) degree representing 16 years of education in a relevant discipline such as Advanced Computing, Business Administration, Commerce, Computer Engineering/Sciences, Information Technology, Management, Public Administration or Software Engineering. A minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience is required. The age bracket for applicants is 24 to 45 years, and the post is open to both male and female candidates holding Punjab domicile. Core responsibilities include facilitating the implementation of PITB systems in the field, coordinating with departmental focal persons, monitoring platform adoption rates, preparing periodic progress reports, supporting end-user onboarding, assisting with issue resolution, conducting field visits, and ensuring achievement of assigned KPIs.
