The Institute of Education and Research (IER) at the University of the Punjab, Lahore -- one of the country's oldest and most prominent institutes for teacher education and educational research -- has invited applications from dynamic, qualified and energetic Pakistani nationals for a combined advertisement covering multiple teaching ranks at its Quaid-i-Azam Campus: 5 posts of Professor, 8 of Associate Professor, 6 of Assistant Professor, and 4 Lecturer posts split across distinct subject specializations, all governed by HEC eligibility criteria and the university's statutory requirements for teaching staff. Unlike the three specialized Lecturer categories advertised alongside this post, this general Lecturer in Education vacancy does not require a specific undergraduate specialization; applicants must instead hold a First Class MS/MPhil or equivalent degree (18 years of education) in a relevant field from an HEC-recognized university or institution, with no third division anywhere in the candidate's academic career. Foreign qualifications are accepted only where HEC or IBCC has formally granted equivalence, and candidates must hold the prescribed qualification by the closing date.
