The Punjab Irrigation Department is hiring a Director Technical/Deputy Project Director (DPD) for its Project Management Office overseeing the Remodeling and Rehabilitation of Link Canals and Implementation of Mega Projects. This is one BPS-19 contract position based in Lahore, created to strengthen the technical oversight arm of the PMO as it executes a major canal and barrage rehabilitation program across the province, supporting the department's broader mega-projects push.

Applicants need a B.Sc. in Civil Engineering together with a Master's degree in Water Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, Irrigation Engineering, or Hydraulics Engineering from an HEC-recognized institution, PEC registration as a Professional Engineer, and a minimum of twelve years of post-B.Sc. experience in planning, design, construction supervision, and project management of canal, river, and barrage works, with at least a second division (45% and above) academic record. Selected candidates will draw Rs. 450,000 per month plus annual increment under government policy.
