The Skill Development Centre (SDC) at the University of the Punjab, Lahore has invited applications from Visiting Faculty, Trainers, and Resource Persons to deliver its skill-based training courses. The closing date for this posting, originally set earlier, has been extended to August 10, 2026, giving prospective applicants additional time to apply.
To be considered, candidates must satisfy at least one of three eligibility routes: holding a minimum MPhil degree in a relevant field from an HEC-recognized university, possessing a recognized professional certification in their area of expertise, or having substantial industry or professional experience gained at a reputable institution. The Centre notes that relevant teaching, training, or industry experience will be viewed as a strong advantage when shortlisting candidates, reflecting the practical, skills-focused nature of the courses offered.
Unlike most PU postings, this role is not filled through the university's online jobs portal — applications must instead be submitted in hard copy via hand delivery, post, or courier, during office hours, to the Director of the Skill Development Centre. Applicants should include a CV and a cover letter specifying the course(s) they are interested in teaching or training. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for an interview; those with questions about the process can call the Centre directly at 042-99230083 before the August 10, 2026 deadline.
