Sheikh Zayed Post Graduate Medical Institute Lahore has announced a recruitment drive for 12 Senior Registrar posts on a permanent basis. The opportunity is open to both male and female candidates who meet the prescribed eligibility criteria, and the vacancy falls under the purview of Sheikh Zayed Post Graduate Medical Institute.

Falling under BPS-18, the post offers a compensation package in line with government pay scales for permanent appointments. The exact salary and benefits will be determined as per the rules and regulations applicable to permanent positions at this grade.

The posting will be at Lahore. However, the appointing authority retains the right to post the selected candidate to any office or station under Sheikh Zayed Post Graduate Medical Institute Lahore within Punjab or elsewhere in Pakistan as circumstances demand.

The posts have been distributed as follows: 12 open merit. Candidates applying under reserved quotas must provide supporting documentation at the time of application or during the interview stage to validate their eligibility under the relevant category.

The prescribed age limit is 18-40 years (as on the closing date). Age relaxation rules issued by the government from time to time shall apply.

To be eligible, candidates must hold i. BASIC QUALIFICATION: MBBS or equivalent Medical qualification recognized by PM&DC; OR M.Sc. of a recognized University in relevant subject (for non-medical graduates in basic sciences). ii. POSTGRADUATE QUALIFICATION: D.Sc., Ph.D., FCPS, MD, MS, M.Phil etc. in respective subjects; OR Equivalent qualification recognized by PM&DC. iii. EXPERIENCE: Five years teaching or practical experience before or after postgraduate qualification in the relevant subject. from a recognized institution. All degrees and certificates must be verified, and candidates should be prepared to present original documents during the selection process.

Experience requirement: 5 years. Candidates must demonstrate the required experience through experience certificates, appointment letters, or other official documentation.
