Sukkur Water & Sewerage Corporation (SWSC) is recruiting one Chief Internal Auditor (CIA) through the Open Testing Service (OTS) under Advertisement Code PSE2026A, the most senior statutory post among the 46 contract positions in the corporation's Sukkur recruitment drive. Appointed by the Board of Directors under Section 17 of the Sukkur Water and Sewerage Corporation Act, 2023, the CIA heads SWSC's internal-audit function, reporting functionally to the Board Audit Committee and administratively to the CEO, and is responsible for risk-based audit planning, fraud investigation and liaison with the Auditor General of Pakistan and the Public Accounts Committee.

Candidates must hold the Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) designation from the IIA — mandatory under Section 17(1) of the SWSC Act and PSC (Corporate Governance) Rules 2013 — or be a fully qualified member of ICAP, ICMAP or ACCA with at least five years of relevant audit experience; forensic-accounting, risk-management or compliance qualifications are an advantage. A minimum of five years' post-qualification audit experience is required, preferably eight to ten years overall in internal audit, external audit or financial management, including at least three years in a senior audit-leadership role within a public-sector entity, government organisation or large institution; public-sector audit exposure, including coordination with the Auditor General, PAC or Local Fund Audit Department, is strongly preferred. The appointment is for an initial three-year contract term, subject to annual performance evaluation by the Board, with a market-based competitive package determined by the Board of Directors; the post is open to men and women, with quotas and age relaxation applied per Government of Sindh policy.

Qualification Required
