Research Analyst (GIS)

About This Job

The Urban Unit is inviting applications from both male and female candidates for 1 vacant Research Analyst (GIS) post within The Urban Unit, Planning and Development Board, Punjab. The appointment will be made on a contractual basis, and the recruitment is being carried out to fill operational needs within the department.

The posting will be at Punjab. However, the appointing authority retains the right to post the selected candidate to any office or station under The Urban Unit, Planning and Development Board, Punjab within Punjab or elsewhere in Pakistan as circumstances demand.

The prescribed age limit is 18-35 years (as on the closing date). Age relaxation rules issued by the government from time to time shall apply.

Educational requirement: 16 years of education in Geographical Information System (GIS), Space Science, Geography, Geo-informatics or related discipline from a HEC recognized institution; MS/M.Phil (18 years) preferred. Candidates are expected to have completed this qualification from a recognized institution. Original documents and attested copies will be required at the time of the interview.

Experience requirement: 2 years relevant experience. Candidates must demonstrate the required experience through experience certificates, appointment letters, or other official documentation.
