The Punjab Resource Management & Policy Unit (PRMPU), under the Planning & Development Board, Government of the Punjab, has announced two vacancies for Research Analyst (Economist) under the "Transformation of Punjab Resource Management & Policy Unit (TPRMPU)" project, advertised 4 August 2026. Graded PPS-8, both posts sit within the project's Strategic Planning Unit (SPU) at the Unit's Lahore office, supporting the Unit's senior specialists with research and data-driven analysis for policy and investment decisions.

Eligible candidates must hold sixteen years of education in Economics, Social Sciences, Statistics, or Operations Research from an HEC-recognized university, along with three to five years of relevant research or data experience; prior exposure to development projects is preferred. The advertised age bracket is 23 to 45 years, open to both male and female applicants, and a valid Punjab domicile is mandatory; candidates without one may obtain it through the Government of Punjab's Dastak doorstep delivery service (call 1202 or use the Dastak app).

The Research Analysts will support research and analysis, prepare briefs and background papers, and assist in surveys and data collection for project appraisal and monitoring & evaluation.
