The University of Agriculture, Faisalabad (UAF) advertised the post of Registrar (BPS-19) as part of a "Situation Vacant" notice issued by the Director (HR). The position is a senior administrative role responsible for university administration, governance and institutional leadership, and applications from Pakistani nationals were invited on the prescribed form, to be submitted to the Office of the Director-HR by the closing date of July 30, 2026.

Eligible candidates needed to meet one of three qualification routes: a PhD from an HEC-recognized institution with eight years of post-qualification experience in administration or teaching; an MS/M.Phil from an HEC-recognized institution with ten years of post-qualification experience in administration or teaching at BS-17 or above; or a Master's degree from an HEC-recognized institution with twelve years of post-qualification experience in administration or teaching at BS-17 or above. The prescribed age limit for the post was 35 to 55 years. Applicants were required to submit one complete set of the application on the prescribed form along with attested copies of educational documents, experience certificates and a bank deposit slip for the non-refundable processing fee of Rs. 1,000. A 3% quota is reserved for persons with disabilities, 5% for minorities, and 15% for women, and government employees were required to apply through proper channel with a No Objection Certificate.

Only short-listed candidates were to be called for test/interview, with no TA/DA admissible, and the University reserved the right to increase, decrease or not fill the advertised vacancy. Incomplete applications or those received after the due date were not entertained.
