The University of Agriculture, Faisalabad (UAF) advertised two posts of Research Assistant (BPS-16) as part of its "Situation Vacant" notice from the Director (HR). Applications from Pakistani nationals were invited on the prescribed form, to be submitted to the Office of the Director-HR (Establishment Section) by the closing date of July 30, 2026.

Eligible candidates needed to hold a Master's degree with at least 2nd Division, or a B.Sc.(Hons.) degree, and to fall within the prescribed age limit of 18 to 35 years. Applications were to be submitted on plain paper with a complete biodata/CV, along with attested copies of relevant educational documents, certificates, testimonials, marks certificates, transcripts, CNIC, and a bank deposit slip covering the reduced non-refundable processing fee of Rs. 500 applicable specifically to Research Assistant posts. The standard statutory quotas apply (3% for persons with disabilities, 5% for minorities, 15% for women), and existing government employees were required to route their applications through proper channel with an NOC from their department.

Only short-listed candidates would be called for test/interview, with no TA/DA admissible, and the University reserved the right to increase, decrease, or withhold the number of vacancies based on availability of funds. Incomplete applications or those received after the due date were not entertained.
