The Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) has invited applications from suitable, eligible candidates for a regular Waiter/Bearer post under its HR Division (Establishment) in Lahore. One vacancy is on offer at grade BPS-4, reserved exclusively for candidates domiciled in District Lahore, as part of WAPDA's ongoing recruitment drive for support-staff positions across its administrative offices. This role forms part of a broader batch of HR Division vacancies covering Waiter/Bearer, Naib Qasid, and Mali posts, all administered together through WAPDA's central testing partner.

Eligible applicants must have passed Matriculation and possess two years of relevant experience working in a restaurant, hotel, or government institution's food or hospitality service. The prescribed age bracket is 18 to 30 years, a figure that already incorporates the standard five-year general age relaxation; candidates from minority communities receive a further three years of relaxation, and government or WAPDA employees with at least two years of continuous regular service may receive relaxation of up to ten years. Only candidates who are domiciled in District Lahore, matching the quota specified against this post, are eligible to apply, and the written test will be conducted by Central Testing Services (CTS) with the subsequent interview held by WAPDA itself; those selected will serve an initial one-year probationary period subject to satisfactory performance before regularization.
