Zarai Taraqiati Bank Limited (ZTBL), Pakistan's 'AAA' rated specialised agricultural bank with more than 500 branches nationwide, is hiring Branch Managers at the OG-I/AVP-I/AVP grades for branches in ten cities and towns: Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Sialkot, Rahim Yar Khan, Swat, Chitral, Karachi, Shaheed Benazirabad, Larkana and Sukkur. The advertisement, dated 11 October 2026, does not fix a number of vacancies, but the spread of locations across Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Sindh shows the Bank is strengthening branch leadership across several regions at once. A ZTBL Branch Manager carries full responsibility for a branch's performance, from bringing in deposits and expanding agricultural credit to recovering both regular and non-performing loans. For experienced bankers who already run a branch, or have done so, this is an opportunity to lead an outlet of the country's main agricultural lender.

The eligibility criteria are straightforward. Candidates need at least a Bachelor degree from an HEC recognised institute or university, whether from Pakistan or abroad, and a minimum of five years of banking experience, of which at least one year must have been spent working as a Branch Manager. The maximum age is 45 years as of the closing date. Alongside deposit mobilisation, agricultural credit expansion and loan recovery, the role covers supervising branch services and operations and keeping the branch compliant with EKYC and regulatory requirements. An important condition of this advertisement is placement: every applicant must name three cities or towns where they would like to be placed, and one of them must be a place where the candidate was posted in a previous assignment.
