About This Job

Directorate Civil Defence Punjab is inviting applications from both male and female candidates for 30 vacant Bomb Disposal Technician posts within Directorate Civil Defence Punjab. The appointment will be made on a contractual basis, and the recruitment is being carried out to fill operational needs within the department.

The position is classified under the BPS-12 pay scale, and the appointment terms including salary, allowances, and service conditions will be governed by the applicable rules of Directorate Civil Defence Punjab. Selected candidates can expect standard government benefits applicable to contractual posts at this grade level.

Duty station: Punjab. Selected candidates will be required to report to this location, although the department reserves the right to transfer or reassign personnel to other locations within Punjab as operational needs arise.

Candidates must be between 21 and 45 years of age as on the last date for submission of applications. Upper age relaxation may be available as per government rules.

Age note: Alternative eligibility: NCO status from Armed Forces with Bomb Disposal certification

The minimum educational qualification required for this position is: Higher Secondary School Certificate (12 years) with Bomb Disposal Course. Candidates must hold the stated qualification from a recognized university or institution at the time of application.

Experience requirement: 1 year in relevant field OR NCO status from Armed Forces with Bomb Disposal certification. Candidates must demonstrate the required experience through experience certificates, appointment letters, or other official documentation.
