The Department of Tourist Services (DTS) Punjab, working under the Tourism, Archaeology and Museums Department of the Government of the Punjab, is recruiting young and energetic people with a Punjab domicile for the Punjab Tourism Force, under advertisement IPL-10654. All posts are on a three-year contract that can be extended but will not be made permanent or regularised, carry a lump sum monthly package with a 10% annual increase, and may be posted anywhere in Punjab. Alongside the uniformed ranks, the force is hiring one Accounts Officer on open merit at a lump sum salary of Rs. 80,000 per month. Applicants need sixteen years of education in Accounts and Finance or a related discipline, with at least a second division or 2.5 CGPA, from an HEC-recognised university, plus two years of post-qualification experience in a relevant field. The age limit is 25 to 30 years, and general age relaxation applies under the Punjab government notification dated 8 August 2016. Only practical experience gained after the prescribed qualification will be counted. No physical standards or medical certificate are required for this post. A Punjab domicile is mandatory, both men and women can apply, and candidates with strong English and computer skills will be preferred.
