The Department of Tourist Services (DTS) Punjab, working under the Tourism, Archaeology and Museums Department of the Government of the Punjab, is recruiting young and energetic people with a Punjab domicile for the Punjab Tourism Force, under advertisement IPL-10654. All posts are on a three-year contract that can be extended but will not be made permanent or regularised, carry a lump sum monthly package with a 10% annual increase, and may be posted anywhere in Punjab. The department is also hiring one Cashier on open merit at a lump sum salary of Rs. 70,000 per month. The cashier will handle day-to-day cash and payment work for the Tourism Force, which makes this a practical role for a commerce or finance graduate with a couple of years of experience behind them.

Candidates need a bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounts, Finance or a related discipline with at least a second division or 2.5 CGPA from an HEC-recognised university, and two years of experience in a relevant field. The age limit is 24 to 29 years, with general age relaxation available under the Punjab government notification of 8 August 2016. Only practical experience gained after the required qualification counts. No physical measurements or medical certificate are needed for this post. A Punjab domicile is required, both male and female candidates may apply, and English proficiency and computer skills will be treated as an advantage.
