First Women Bank Limited (FWBL) is looking for a Manager IT Governance to join its Information Technology division at Head Office, Karachi, and take ownership of the bank's IT governance framework. First Women Bank Limited was established under a special mandate to advance the economic and financial inclusion of women across Pakistan, and operates today as a State Bank of Pakistan-regulated scheduled commercial bank with a nationwide branch network. The role is responsible for aligning technology initiatives with business objectives, ensuring compliance with State Bank of Pakistan regulations, and embedding industry best practices such as COBIT, ITIL and ISO 27001/38500 across the organization. Day to day, the manager will develop, implement and continuously refine governance policies and standards, oversee governance committees and management reporting, monitor technology risk and remediation of audit and regulatory observations, and produce governance KPI and KRI dashboards for senior management. The role also involves supporting governance of IT projects and technology investments and coordinating closely with Information Security, Risk Management, Compliance and Internal Audit on cross-functional governance matters. The manager is also expected to lead governance-related audit and regulatory coordination, track the timely closure of outstanding observations, and help mature the bank's overall governance reporting and committee-oversight processes over time.

FWBL is seeking a bachelor's degree holder in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related discipline, with a master's degree considered an advantage, together with six years of relevant IT experience of which at least three years should be specifically in IT governance, technology risk, IT compliance or IT controls within banking or financial services. Professional certifications such as COBIT, CGEIT, CISA, CRISC, ITIL or ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor are cited as an added advantage.
